The Columbus Day Open is organized by Players International Management, the staff that hosts the Delray Beach Open (the world’s only combined 10-day ATP World Tour Event and ATP Champions Tour Event).
In 2014, Wycliffe Golf & Country Club hosted the Boys’ and Girls’ 18s Clay Court Tennis Tournament. It featured some of the best and brightest 18 year old players around, including winner Ingrid Neel, who went onto playing at the 2015 U.S. Open. We are very excited to announce that Wycliffe is hosting this event once again on October 10-12, 2015.
What truly separates this tournament from many others, is that it will be featuring exceptional talent of the top 84 players from around the country. Each player will be competing for USTA national ranking points which may lead to tennis scholarships.
“Wycliffe is very proud to be hosting The Columbus Day Open for the second time. It’s wonderful to see so many incredible players showing their competitive spirit for the game.” said Director of Tennis and Nine-Time National Champion, Kam Kuchta.
The event is open to all Wycliffe Golf & Country Club members. Wycliffe also welcomes the parents and grandparents of the players. Learn more about the USTA and future events here.
