Ron Magill is an American wildlife expert and photographer; he is the communications director of the Miami-Dade Zoological Park and Gardens, and makes regular television appearances across local South Florida networks. Magill has won three Emmy Award for his work on the nature documentary programs; Dreams of Alaska, The Amazon & Beyond, and Dreams of the Rain Forest.

On Tuesday, December 1, Ron visited Wycliffe Golf & Country Club to talk with members and present photographs of his most recent trip to Botswana. What made this night even more special was Ron’s narration throughout each picture and how he captured the audience’s attention with his incredible photos of his journey. In total, there were about 576 slides all taken in the wild and over 100 club members in attendance.

“Ron is an outstanding photographer and presenter, with a special gift for sharing his love for wildlife. We were incredibly fortunate to have him with us. We cannot wait to have him back again very soon!” said Ira Abramson, Wycliffe member.

On a side note, Ron Magill has been a Nikon Ambassador for more than two decades and denotes part of his success to the famous camera manufacturer.
