Minto Communities presents eight new models in Verona — Sun City Center’s last remaining new neighborhood
Minto Communities is presenting eight new fully-furnished models in the last remaining new neighborhood ever to be built within historic Sun City Center near Tampa. Four luxury single-family models and four luxury paired villa models now are open for viewing. Verona features a private gated entrance, resort-style pool, and selection of six villa floor plans and nine single-family home floor plans from Minto.
Fully furnished single-family home models include the Laguna, Palisade, Montecito and Solana. Single-family homes range in size from 1,683 square feet under air to 2,557 square feet under air, and are priced from the low $200s. Distinctive Minto design features include bright, open living areas, designer kitchens and generously sized master suites and master baths with spacious his and her closets. Minto is known for including many premium features in their award-winning homes such as wood cabinets, granite countertops in kitchens and baths, tray ceilings, tile floors, full GE appliance package and much more.
Fully furnished villa models include the Palm, Magnolia, Banyan and Buttonwood. Villas range in size from 1,503 square feet under air to 1,862 square feet under air, and are priced from the $180s. Two and three bedroom floor plans are available. All have open, great room designs, covered, screened lanais and two-car garages.
“Minto is very proud to be a part of the rich 50-year history of the Sun City Center master planned community,” notes Minto Senior Vice President William Bullock. “Verona is the final neighborhood to be developed within Sun City Center, and represents the last opportunity for prospective homebuyers to purchase a new Minto home within this outstanding community.”
Named by Where to Retire magazine as a member of the Hall of Fame of Best Master-Planned Communities, Sun City Center is known as one of the country’s premier 55-and-over communities. Located between Tampa and Sarasota, Sun City Center is close to the many recreational, shopping, dining and cultural offerings of these nearby cities while offering its residents an unparalleled range of community amenities.
Sun City Center’s more than 200 activity and social clubs offer something for every interest. Golfers enjoy ClubLink Corporation® managed golf courses offering more than 120 holes of golf. Additional amenities include tennis courts, pickleball and shuffleboard courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, miles of walking and biking trails, and dog parks. In addition, there are recreational centers with art studio, dance studio, pottery room and state-of-the-art fitness facilities. Residents will enjoy the 43,000-square-foot Club Renaissance with indoor running and jogging track, wellness center, full-service Spa Celeste, two restaurants and a lounge. Another unique aspect of life at Sun City Center is that residents can drive their golf carts on the streets.
Minto developed Sun City Center using its own funding sources, electing not to utilize Community Development District (CDD) funds. According to Bullock, “When a developer uses CDDs, the cost of infrastructure improvements is passed on to the residents. This fee shows up on the tax bill with average annual assessments ranging from $1,000 to $2,000 per year up to a maximum of 30 years. Minto didn’t want to burden our residents with this.”
The Sun City Center sales center is located at 105 Commercial Center Drive, Sun City Center, Florida. Sales center hours are Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. For information, call 888-253-1567 or visit mintofla.com.
