For the past 15 years, Craig Wesolowski has developed into one of the most respected golf instructors in North Carolina, California and the Greater New York/New Jersey Tri-State area. Craig has been a prominent member of the PGA of America for a majority of his golfing career, beginning at the Golf Academy of America in San Diego, CA, where he had the distinct honor of being in the Top 10 of his class. Wycliffe Golf & Country Club is now very proud to welcome Craig as our new Assistant Golf Professional.
Craig’s accomplishments date back to 2004, where he became a top professional at the renowned “Kilmaric Golf Club” in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. He then had the distinct honor of working alongside Guy Thompson (Grandson of James Barnes, the 1st PGA Champion in the history of golf) Over time, Craig has developed a loyal following, mostly from his unique teaching style and of course, his passion for the game.
In 2014-2015, Craig closely worked closely with Scott Riehl, a 14 year Head Strength and Conditioning Coordinator on the PGA Tour. Through Scott’s specific teachings, Craig soon became an expert in the biomechanics of the golf swing, which involves the functional movement of the swing.
“Ive always had a strong passion for the game of golf as well as teaching others what I’ve learned over the course of my 20 year career. I’m very proud and excited to be a part of Wycliffe Golf & Country Club. I’m looking forward to working with the Membership and building better golfers.” said Wesolowski
“Craig is a highly accomplished golf professional with a devotion to the game and teaching others his skill-set. We’re very excited to have him as part of our team.” said Paul Rifenberg, Head Golf Pro for Wycliffe Golf & Country Club.
