The Georgia Club Foundation Hosts Celebrity Golf Tournament

WHAT: Support local charitable causes by registering to play a foursome with celebrities like Damon Evans (UGA Athletic Director), Jay Clark (UGA Gym Dogs Coach) Alan Tibbets (Magic 102.1 Morning Show Host) and Master of Ceremonies Suzanne Yoculan (retired UGA Gym Dog’s coach) – and there are more to come!

WHEN: Saturday, August 1, 2009
- 7 a.m. Registration begins
- 8 a.m. Breakfast
- 9 a.m. Shotgun start, scramble format
- Awards ceremony, auction and barbecue to follow play, around 1 p.m.

WHO: The cost for the event is $200 per person or $800 per team. All are invited to attend the awards ceremony and cookout for $20.

WHERE: The Chancellors Course at The Georgia Club, 1050 Chancellors Drive, Statham, GA, 30666. The Georgia Club is located less than one mile south of University Parkway, Highway 316, off of the Craft Road exit in Statham, Ga., 45 miles east of Atlanta and 10 miles west of Athens.

BENEFICIARIES: Proceeds from the tournament will benefit The Georgia Club Foundation and the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia.

DETAILS: The Georgia Club is Northeast Georgia’s premier residential golf community. The Celebrity Golf Tournament is hosted by The Georgia Club Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to improving the spiritual and cultural quality of life for its residents and the community at large.
